Allows users to upgrade a previously purchased standard Fire Safety Stick to the Utility version. Ideal for vehicles or machinery under more extreme movements/vibrations. Also, for some non-dmoestic installations. This kit does not include the Fire Safety Stick itself, items are loose, not fitted.

Includes:

  • Loose Tamper-tag which can be easily fitted to the bottom striker cap to prevent loss. The link for video instructions on fitting the tamper tag by the user is available to view here: https://fss.link/TagFitting
  • Extra mounting clip - In addition to the single clip included with your original purchase, an extra clip provides a more secure mounting but also prevents vibration as the stick pivots in a single clip.

It is worth considering an OPTIONAL vinyl self-adhesive sign with additional instructions on use and classes of fires. This can be ordered separately.

Brilliant

It looks as if the FSS is far superior to a conventional fire extinguisher. It last much longer, no maintenance, light and compact and ideal for our motorhome, kitchen and workshop. It looks as if it is effective on all types of fires.

good service

All I can review is the ordering and delivery service as I haven't had cause, (and hope I never do) to use the Fire Safety Stick. Both the service and delivery was easy to use and delivery was as stated when I bought it. Bought for our camper van, it was easy to put up.

Ideal fire extinguisher

I recommend this extinguisher to everyone but especially those who have a horse box, caravan or car. This extinguisher is exceptional & can be used on different types of fire. I encourage everyone to have a fire extinguisher in their home, on the stable yard & office. This extinguisher could put out a small fire & help prevent it from becoming a large fire.

Potentially Transformational

If it performs as well as tests seem to show this is a game-changer in boat, caravan and mobilehome fire safety. It's small size also allows it to be fitted in far more appropriate locations than a conventional extinguisher.

Promises to be ideal - but I hope I never get to test it!

Not cheap but in all I think a technical innovation that makes a whole lot of sense.
And ideal for a vancamper! (Halon extinguishers no longer available).
Small & tidy; very easy and unobtrusive to stow and grab if needed.

Great Product

This is a different take on how to put a fire out. I bought it for our Motorhome. We had nothing before this. I hope I never have to use it but you never know. I’ve not used it yet.

Mounting bracket

The bracket is much better than the one that comes with the Firestick, but it is very expensive for what it is. Given the price of the Firestick, this should be supplied as standard.
