Are you and your horse protected against the risk of fire?

It can happen to anyone, at any one time, without warning! You need to carry a suitable fire extinguisher and know how to use it safely and correctly! The Fire Safety Stick is the perfect solution for peace of mind.

The Fire Safety Stick is quickly becoming the new go-to fire aid product for the everyday equine lifestyle! Whether it be you are travelling from event to event, going on a trip to the vet or protecting your tack and animals in the stables, the Fire Safety Stick is the easy-to-use and portable solution for everyone!

The biggest risk is during transportation!

Recently, there seem to be more and more incidents with fires and horse boxes. Sadly, this occasionally leads to the fatalities of horses. There are many factors whether it is from the state of the engine, fuel system or electrical heat. Even potentially from overheating brakes due to the heavy loads. The aim, of course, is that the fire should be caught and safely extinguished before it becomes a much greater risk to yourselves and the livestock on board. Doing so can potentially avoid the added danger of needing to release the horses from the vehicle by the roadside, thereby creating a risk to them and other road users.

Being able to deal with such an emergency quickly, thereby causing much less stress and disruption to the horses, will of course be a much better outcome for all.

Versatile, not just for the horse box!

Since the Fire Safety Stick is certified to do many types of fire classifications, it means it is not just for the horsebox. It can also be ready for any possible cooking fires involving burning oil or fats, electrical goods, fuel or alcohol fires, flammable gases and solid material fires. After discharging it won’t leave a horrible, dangerous mess, unlike many other extinguishers. Meaning that the repairs/cleanup is far reduced compared to caustic extinguishers. In some cases, where the fire damage was not too great, a few who've had an engine fire were able to continue their journey after using the Fire Safety Stick to suppress the fire.

We also have had multiple chimney fire saves too, where the creosote on the flue inside the chimney caught alight!

The Fire Safety Stick!

  • The Fire Safety Stick is a unique, small, lightweight fire extinguisher, unlike any other you may be familiar with. It separates itself from other extinguishers because of these following factors:

  • Weight & Size

From just 215 grams and 27x3cm. Saving you at least 2kg of weight compared to a 1kg powder (net weight 2.25kg).

  • Shelf Life

With 15 years of shelf life (minimum), you will not need to replace it as often as you would with a traditional extinguisher, which is typically every 5 years.

  • Breathability

The Fire Safety Stick is safe to breathe in, even in confined spaces, by both humans and animals.

  • Fire Classes

Certified for 5 classes of fire including A – Combustible materials, B – Flammable liquids, C – Flammable gases, Electrical fires up to 100,000v, and Class F – Cooking oils and fats.

  • Discharge Time

One of the most common traditional extinguishers is a 1kg powder, lasting for just 7 seconds. The Fire Safety Stick goes for at least 50 seconds!

  • Cleanup

Unlike powder, the Fire Safety Stick leaves NO damaging mess or residue. We've had examples of engines experiencing a fire and continuing their journey after an FSS was used!

  • Servicing

Most tradtional extinguishers NEED servicing annually, especially in vehicles. The Fire Safety Stick does NOT require any servicing!

  • Eco Impact

The contents released from the Fire Safety Stick are both environmentally friendly and have zero effect on the atmosphere/ozone layer.

  • Reduce Risk

Traditional extinguishers require manual operation, keeping you in harm's way of the fire. The Fire Safety Stick can be activated and left behind to repress the fire, while you, your family and pets escape to safety.

Act now. Catch it early. Before it's too late.

The Fire Safety Stick is all about allowing you to catch the fire early and stop it in its tracks before it gets out of control. If you find that the fire has already grown beyond what you feel comfortable tackling, activate it, leave it behind in the room, shut the door and escape to safety!
